Local Information (2004 Summer Institute)

We have reserved a block of rooms at special rates at the Simmons College Dorm facility which is within walking distance of the Graduate School of Library and Information Science. Prices for single and double air-conditioned rooms with shared bathrooms/ showers down the hall are $62 and $48 per person per night respectively. The price for air-conditioned suites accommodating 1-3 people, with in-room bathroom/shower, common area, and small kitchen is $175 per room per night. Reservations for these rooms must be made using the form at ksi.simmons.edu/regform_dorm.html. Additionally, we have reserved a block of rooms at the Best Western Inn at Longwood Medical at a special rate of $129 (plus tax) per night. To make a reservation, please call the hotel directly and ask for "in-house reservations." The toll free reservation number is: 877-267-9991 or (local) 617-731-4700. Please refer to "Simmons College Summer Institute for Knowledge Sharing" when making reservations. Please note, the last day to make a reservation at the discounted group rate is June 21, 2004.
